Lost in Translation Vol. 1 REVEALED
Lost in Translation is back with the answer to this week's song!
It’s Friday, which means we’re back with the answer to Monday’s Lost in Translation.
The Translated Lyric
Here’s the lyric I provided:
Shining stars
The sky is very dark.
I know, baby.
I will never die.
The Original Lyric
The original lyric, back translated (thanks Andy!) to English after passing through half a dozen languages is:
Bright are the stars that shine
Dark is the sky
I know this love of mine
Will never die

The Song
I imagine that most music fans would have been able to guess the song from its original English lyrics, but in the event that you weren’t, the lyric comes from the third verse of The Beatles’ “And I Love Her” from their third UK album, 1964’s A Hard Day’s Night.
And here’s the music video, cued up at the start of this week’s mystery lyric:
A couple of readers were able to discern this week’s lyric using Google. As I mentioned in Monday’s post, this will likely be the easiest of all of the entries in the Lost in Translation series and I don’t expect Google to provide the answer again (he said, hopefully!).
Feel free to jump into the comments with your thoughts:
How did you do? Were you close? Or completely stumped?
Are you a Beatles fan? If so, is this one of your faves?
We’ll see you again on Monday with a new installment of Lost in Translation. Until then, happy listening!!
I was stumped ! 😁 Looking forward to the next one!
I wasn’t even close. Like, not even in the same universe. 😂
I’m exited to try my luck again in round 2!
