Well, I've never had those albums together in MY kitchen either! Do I win something?! Seriously, yeah, this one was tough but if somebody got what you wanted it couldn't have been too tough!
The layout of the songs in your post's puzzle is different than it was on mine. Would that be the case for everyone?
For some reason "Whammy" was the hardest word for me to get. When "Wham" didn't work it didn't occur to me to try "Whammy" until much later!
Favorite song of the bunch: It's Too Late by Carole King by a long shot!
Hi Dan, thanks for pointing out the layout issue with the word grid. I had several different versions of the puzzle and the one in the post is an earlier edition. I've now updated the post for people that haven't been here yet.
Yes, I'd say "It's Too Late" is my favorite of the bunch as well - it's a classic!
So, that's how it's gonna be, eh? I wouldn't dial down the difficulty, Mark. I was nowhere close to getting that....pretty shrewd of Frank to get this. I never thought to look at the cover of each (and, several, I hadn't seen). I decided to wait and see just what we were going for, and go from there! So, now we know it could be a visual element! I see you, Mark!
I enjoyed that Cheers clip. I never became a fan of that show. It's amazing how many shows Alex and "Jeopardy" guested on other shows! They did a bit on "Golden Girls," where even show creator, Merv Griffin, made an appearance! I guess when you're a ubiquitous game show from (at least) the '60s, you can call yourself an institution! I remember watching "Jeopardy" with Art Fleming, in the '60s (I was 10 in '65, for a point of reference) when I was home sick from school, and Mom would bring home dot-to-dot books--as I/we used to call them--for me to play with, too!
Thanks Brad! Yeah I think I'll keep them challenging for a while longer although there are certainly some easier ones in the queue too.
I was never a big fan of Cheers but I loved that episode - betting everything when he didn't need to was so Cliff! It really is crazy how long Jeopardy has been around. For my money, Alex Trebek has always been the best host. Having said that, I haven't seen many of the episodes before he took over.
Alex was tremendous on Jeopardy....the Johnny Carson of game shows (who actually started his career hosting a game show!)! So much personality, the longevity, and professionalism. Plus, the ability to poke good-natured fun on those guest appearances, lest viewers and/or critics thought he or the show were too stuffy!
There's never an easy way 🎶 😅 Well done Frank! Seriously I would have never got it

Looking forward to the next one!

Jawbreaker’s “Unfun” has frontman Blake Schwarzenbach’s cat on the cover.
Yeah that one made my shortlist but didn't make the final cut mainly because I though unfun might be a hard word to find.
Seeing a quote from Blake about that cat in a magazine was my on ramp to the band- a band that would eventually become one of my all-time favorites.

Hit me again, dealer!🃏

I never would have guessed it! But, it was definitely fun!
