Ditto on the "Landed" accolades. I've seen Ben (solo and with a band) a half dozen times and it's always a love-fest with most of the crowd singing along.
I'm amazed you aren't taking a couple weeks off, considering all that you're in the middle of. I stopped trying to post on a particular day as I realized it was stressing me out too much. I can say that for me, I will read what you write whatever day you post it (or a day or three later), so it's not important in terms of my fandom.
And great 1-2 punch with "Landed" and "Lonesome Tears." I saw Beck at a small theater on that tour and it was one of the best shows I've seen. I'll be seeing Beck play with a full orchestra in a few weeks and I'm super psyched for that.
The only band I didn't know was Salmonella Dub, which I totally dig. I will have to check out more from them. Fun to return to Sneaker Pimps for the first time in decades....
For much of my life I’ve set ridiculous standards for myself. Only in recent years have I been able to give myself a break (like delaying my post by a few days). If there weren’t 52 weeks in a year with 2 week windows for each letter of the alphabet, I might’ve already skipped a week or two. But having made it through the busiest period of the year I should be good to go. I expect the stress to just continue to melt away in the coming weeks. I’ve already created the playlists for the next few months so that helps.

I saw Beck perform at Prospect Park in Brooklyn in 2013 and he was phenomenal performing with the same band from the Sea Change sessions. With a full orchestra I imagine it’ll be an excellent show.
I miss Sneaker Pimps. I did go and check out some of Kelli Ali’s music and enjoyed it. I wish I’d known back then that she was releasing music as a solo artist
Amy was (is) such a golden talent. You couldn’t have put it in better words. That track will always be 💔 for me. At least we still have the gift of her music.
Agreed, ‘Songs for Silverman’ is a brilliant album, and ‘Landed’ is a masterpiece.
Oh, and bring warm and waterproof clothes for the current London weather 😮
