Awesome! I hope they tour the States. And, if they do, I hope they play more than just NY, LA, and Chicago!

I have tickets for The Beta Band in October, tho! It's being billed as The Three EPs Tour! I have seen Steve Mason live, and he is brilliant. Super stoked for this reunion!

They were great! Hopefully they make it stateside.

I’ve never really listened to anything Beta Band related outside of Steve Mason’s side project King Biscuit Time, particularly the 2000 EP “No Style”

Beta Band's 'Three EPs' is well worth listening to. They have since been compiled as one LP (the original EPs can be pricey). Mason is an extraordinarily engaging performer. The small solo gig we saw was fantastic!

Nice! Thanks for sharing this! Massive crowd for Massive Attack. Were there other bands?

It was absolutely packed! The other headline act was Air and they put on a solid 60 minute set before Massive Attack.

Earlier in the day Hunny, Tirzah, 47 Soul and DJ Milo were on stage 1. The second stage had Everything Is Recorded, the Mad Professor and Yasin Bey.

Tina and I got there in the early evening to lock down our spot for Air, otherwise I would’ve loved to see Yasin Bey although he did make a cameo in the Massive Attack set and was awesome
