I recently came across the Nigerian artist William Onyeabor and can’t get enough of this compilation released in 2013 on David Byrne’s Luaka Bop label.
Give it a listen, you won’t be disappointed!!

Fantastic album. There is a wealth of music from Africa that is finally getting out and being heard. Yet, at the same time, so much more is still undiscovered (especially from countries often overlooked in favor of Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, and Zambia).
The album is fantastic, so glad it popped up for me!!
